UEFA Champion’s League fans get up close and personal
Ear To The Ground and UEFA are delighted to announce the launch of a new insight lead content campaign ahead of The Champion’s League final. Fanatic, Ear To The Ground’s insight and planning department uncovered a universal desire for fans to feel closer to the tournament and the teams they worship ahead of the final in Lisbon this May.
This sent Ear To The Ground’s production team to every corner of the globe, taking the heart of the Champion’s League to the people it means most to. From sun kissed Lisbon, through snow capped Geneva, around London’s Trafalgar Square all the way to the vibrant city of Hoi Chi Min in Vietnam before revelling in Buenos Aires, and back again.
Wherever they went, whomever they met, the team were moved by the unwavering emotion and excitement surrounding the tournament. Many of the fans, young and old were moved to tears when they unexpectedly found themselves face to face with what they’d only ever been able to admire from afar.
The first of a series of teaser edits has been revealed to fans on social media today and can be seen here. The campaign has already started to grow new and existing global fan bases and activate loyal and influential networks of fans in new ways. We’re incredibly excited to see the campaign’s momentum build as the Champion’s Festival draws closer and closer.
As the greatest club show on earth reaches its climax, never before have so many of its huge fan base been rewarded with a personal experience of the tournament. We’re ready to celebrate the most talented collection of players and coaches as they meet with the most passionate fans on earth in Lisbon and online. UEFA Champions League Final 2014 is due to reach epic heights.
