Summer 2012 is shaping up to be the most exciting year in Ear to the Ground’s history.  We’re all set to hit the road to tour some of the UK’s and Europe’s best festivals with briefs to bring to life some of the UK’s most covetable and exciting lifestyle brands. It all starts up a snow capped mountain in Austria.

For the twelfth year running, we’re off to produce Snowbombing - an alpine extravaganza filled with fresh air, blue skies, black runs and white-hot parties, in the chocolate box setting of Mayrhofen, Austria. 

With headline sponsor Eristoff on board, the snow-laden festival will host 150 DJs, 20 bands and 5,000 extreme sport and music fans snowboarding by day and parting hard by night. It is now recognised as one of Europe’s leading music festivals and achieves mass coverage across all media platforms from Channel 4 to The Times.  And, with headline artists including Dizzie Rascal, DJ Shadow, Example, The Vaccines and Fat Boy Slim, who will be hosting his very own street party, this years media partner Metro UK is set to give the event and its sponsors some serious hype.

At Ear to the Ground we’re no strangers to creating memorable experiences in unique surroundings for our clients. Even so, each year we produce a bigger and better Snowbombing, attracting bigger audiences and new and exciting commercial partners all keen to feel the benefit of the exposure that comes with being a part of Europe’s most exciting music and sports event. This year our event management and production direction has given headline sponsors like Motorola, Breo and Coors Light the confidence to invest in the platform as a major pillar of their pan European campaigns.
