The Ear to the Ground fashion squad has just got back from producing a global showcase for Bench at Berlin Fashion Week’s ‘Bread and Butter’ fashion expo.

Months of venue sourcing, planning and casting models ended with the production of a two day showcase.  It was attended by a global audience of 150 invited international licensees, who collectively travelled over 100,000 miles to get an exclusive peak at the AW12 collections.

The industrial setting of an East Berlin sorting office, was transformed to reverberate with theme of ‘Magnifying Urban Subcultures’.  Guests were able to connect with the brand’s rich heritage in music and street culture with a specially designed conference set that flipped into a catwalk show.

The event was split into three distinct choreographed sections, featuring VJs and play listed chapters, as well as four showcases that not only made the apparel the star but also incorporated one-to-ones with designers, mini catwalks and breakout sessions. We built, produced and designed the entire interior from scratch, which included a bespoke editing suite where professional video footage was captured then edited on site to create a video that was broadcast the following day at Bread and Butter.

Over the two day event, Ear to the Ground delivered a 35 minute catwalk show that took the audience on a fully immersive multi-media journey through the story of Bench’s latest menswear, womenswear, denim and accessories collections.
